The transport forum in Jakarta, Indonesia, held from May 28 to 30, wasn't just about showcasing the latest in transportation; it also provided a platform for discussing crucial topics in the field. Oleg Zaretskiy, CEO of uScovery DMCC, shared his perspective on why he believes that string transport is the only viable solution to the growing transportation challenges worldwide.
In his opinion, string transport should be considered the only sustainable, safe, and affordable solution to transport problems, especially in developing countries. He emphasizes that by 2040, the doubling of cars on the roads will lead to a transportation crisis, and increasing the number of roads and bridges proportionally will not solve the problem due to limited space. Additionally, electric transport isn't a feasible solution as it won't reduce accidents or alleviate congestion.
